Incredible space, attentive kind staff, excellent food & drinks! Don’t miss this beautiful spot for authentic Poblano food (heavy snacks & sandwiches), an excellent mezcal selection, and the best pulque in Mexico. All in a gorgeous courtyard (some under cover) you won’t want to leave.

Popped in on a whim, and glad we did. Lovely spot with excellent service, and great food. Comida poblana, But with the chef's own touches, surprise bites. Craft beer, which is uncommon even at nicer restaurants. A must visit in Los Sapos.

Great experience just beyond the centro historico. Everything was excellent, but the mole was sublime. Javier did a good job describing the nuances in the mezcal tasting. Dinner included an elote appetizer and a chocolate truffle palette cleanser. Highly recommend!!

An absolutely delightful experience. The corn on the cob with cheese and chilli was a taste sensation, as was the blue corn quesadilla with zucchini flowers and insects. The food is prepared and presented with such care and attention. Loved the cemitas and also the complimentary chocolate truffles coated with crushed grasshoppers. A dinner to remember, and I'd recommend this spot to others seeking not just refined food, but also great service and a wonderful experience.

Excellent early dinner before going to the arena. Staff was welcoming, knowledgeable and with great suggestions for both food and mezcal. Food was tasty, balanced and complex with great local products. The mezcalinas were absolutely delicious. Overall we had a really nice and fun evening before enjoying 2 hours of lucha libre!

Beautiful place with a huge palm tree in the middle of the restaurant. Service was impeccable, The amuse Boucher was a specially prepared corn cob. We started with chalupas pob lanas, followed by the guacamole con chapulines. This is a highlight; a genius combination of textures and flavours. You will see from the photos that we were enjoying the food so much that we ate half of the tortillas enchiladas before taking the picture. We were treated to spicy chocolate truffles and mezcal "Sambuco" with the bill. Oh, and did I mention the house margarita made with mescal rather than tequila: delicious.
